Galaxy Hostel Life

To ensure every ‘Galaxian’ has the best environment for academic success, we observe a few simple community guidelines. By staying with us, you agree to uphold the following:

1. Peace & Quiet (Study Hours)

• Silence Hours: Strictly observed from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. This is a study-first hostel.
• Loud music or disruptive noise in corridors is not permitted. Please use headphones for the comfort of your neighbors.

2. Visitor Policy

• To keep our residents safe, all visitors must sign in at the gate.
• Opposite-sex visitors: For the privacy of all residents, visitors of the opposite sex are not allowed in rooms after 7:00 PM.
• Overnight guests: No unauthorized overnight guests are permitted for security reasons.

3. Safety & Prohibited Items

• Fire Safety: Cooking is permitted only in the designated kitchen areas. Use of high-voltage coils or charcoal stoves in rooms is strictly prohibited.
• Zero Tolerance: Galaxy is a drug-free and alcohol-free environment. Possession of illegal substances will lead to immediate eviction without a refund.

4. Room Care & Utilities

• Residents are responsible for the cleanliness of their rooms.
• Please switch off lights and fans when leaving your room to support our green energy and backup power initiatives.

5. Respect for Staff

• Treat our security guards, cleaners, and wardens with the same respect you’d give a professor. They are here to keep you safe and comfortable.
